Love Simple 03:07
Love Simple Do you want to go out? Let's take a train to the coast. This city is a lout. That's when I hate it the most. Do you want to stay in? Let's run a bath and light the fire. The day sheds it's skin. Night slips in to its finest attire. When the day is over we'll go home When the party's over we'll be alone. Love is too simple to be perfected by time. No abuse of the heart no overuse of the mind. We'll go bowling, skating take a trip, just two friends looking for companionship. When the day is over we'll go home When the party's over we'll be alone. When the day is over we'll go home When the party's over we'll be alone.

The Jealous Hour The Jealous Hour. The Jealous Hour The Jealous Hour. The Jealous Hour Your everything I want to see Don’t you know what you do to me. Nothing will tear us apart, not even death us do part though we had such a terrible start. A mess, untidy from Monday through to Friday I’ve seen you scream down the street in my nightie. You’re everything I want to see Don’t you know what you do to me I know you’re not into possession I’m quite aware how much you care Though I’m not altogether sure which one I prefer The Jealous Hour. The Jealous Hour Oh, how I love you so I’m wishing on a rainbow. I know it’s just the dream of the day It’s just the jealous hour I know you’re not into possession I’m quite aware how much you care Though I’m not altogether sure which one I prefer. The Jealous Hour. The Jealous Hour The Jealous Hour. The Jealous Hour The Jealous Hour. The Jealous Hour The Jealous Hour. The Jealous Hour. .

Just Words 04:07
Just Words To him it wasn’t so much the woman’s activities that seemed alarming; having been caught in the ‘very act’ but the violent reaction of the angry mob who were standing about ready. She had not acted alone, could not of, but alone she stood, taking the full brunt of their accusations, their denied desires that sometimes disguises a guilty conscience and other such vices of the mind. Once upon a time this woman innocent, virgin, had dreams – just a girl unlucky in love, or just needing love, be it somewhat misguided. Had he seen the same false accusations thrown at his mother? To him it seemed the lesser of two evils as opposed to the mob’s hatred which the Law, justifying their bloodlust, demanded. But imagine somehow just words possessed of the power to stop and disperse an angry mob bent on killing – Of course such power would carry their own consequences, and he who uttered them would pay eventually. Still, to him, it seemed worth living to have said them, to him it seemed worth dying to have done it.

Villanelle 04:12
Villanelle I’m carving a heart on my bed post tonight as Death lays a wreath down before any replies: How many lives has a heart got left? A cruel, unkindly act is no boast if nothing, it helps one forget all the lies By carving a heart on the bed post tonight. Such love can leave such a grieving ghost haunting the hallways and stairs with sighs: How many lives has a heart got left? I try to control what I fancy the most And turn out into the ones I despise Who carves a notch on their bed post at night. How quickly the guest can invade the host And steal all the crystal before the eyes. How many lives has a heart got left? How silently waves will pull down the coast And here below the sunburnt skies I’m carving a heart on the bed post tonight. How many lives has a heart got left?

The Collector I had a dream you were made of butterflies I had a dream Your heart was made of flowers I had a dream you were made of butterflies I had a dream Your heart was made of flowers I had a dream you were made of butterflies I had a dream Your heart was made of flowers . . . and then I woke up I had a nightmare I dreamt that I collected butterflies I had a nightmare I dreamt that I pressed wild flowers. Collect and classify, collect and classify Collect and classify, collect and classify Collect and classify, collect and classify Collect and classify, collect and classify Collect and classify, collect and classify . . . and then I woke up.

Chippy Girl 03:19
Chippy Girl Well he’s gone for a lad’s week out on the Magaluf strip He did ask if he could kiss other fish in the sea. He’s so dishy I’m all wrapped up in yesterday’s news. And his lines are smoother than a Hopkins 3 Pan Gas ring fryer With extractor fan and hot plates ‘Cause he’s so dishy I’m all wrapped up in yesterday’s news. ‘Cause I’m a chippy girl, chippy girl. I’m open 24/7 I’m a chippy girl, chippy girl for you. Welcome back. Come back cause I’m you’re welcome, Matt. Can’t you see, I get a kick when you dip your toe in the Medi, When I scream, I scream ‘throw me a life, boy. ‘Cause he’s so dishy I’m all wrapped up in yesterday’s news. ‘Cause I’m a chippy girl, chippy girl. I’m open 24/7 I’m a chippy girl, chippy girl for you. So don’t be jealous when my heart plops into the deep fat fryer And I take his order ‘Cause I’m a chippy girl, chippy girl. I’m open 24/7 I’m a chippy girl, chippy girl for you. ‘Cause I’m a chippy girl, chippy girl. I’m open 24/7 I’m a chippy girl, chippy girl for you.
